Where are the Beauty Academies in London?

We are proud to have two state of the art academies. The academies are situated in Chiswick, West London and Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. We are proud to have the latest equipment available to beauty salons.

How much do the Beauty Courses Cost?

The courses are £3,345 each. All students will be required to purchase a uniform and kit, the kit equalling £50. For all Level 3 qualifications, we accept the Advanced Learner Loan.
If you are aged over 19, and you are unemployed, haven’t received a full Level 3 qualification before and are in receipt of benefits and looking to return to work then you may be able to get the course government funded. These spaces are limited and will be confirmed at interview.

What is the advanced Learner Loan?

The advanced learner loan is a government-funded loan that has the main aim of helping learners afford the various beauty courses offered across London and the country as a whole. Similar to the student loan, the repayment structure is linked to how much you earn. You will only start to pay back your loan when you earn over £27,295 – this helps make the course affordable and a great way to get into an exciting career with lots of options for progression. If you would like to find out more about the advanced learner loan then please head on over to our dedicated page for this.

How do you repay the Advanced Learner Loan?

The repayment structure is very similar to the student loan – Learners will only need to start paying back the money borrowed when they are learning over £27,295 per year before tax. This helps make the course an affordable option and makes the course accessible to a range of people from different backgrounds.

What career can I head in to once finished?

Our qualifications will prepare you for employment in your chosen professon. You will also be eligible to join a professional association and gain insurance as a beauty therapist, makeup artist or nail technician. Career opportunities exist in a variety of contexts, including:

  • Beauty salons
  • Health Spas
  • Hotels
  • Owning your own business
  • Health clubs
  • Cruise liners

If you wish to work as a mobile therapist or offer occasional treatments from home, you will be sufficiently qualified.

All students receive the Diploma which allows you to gain public liability (beauty) insurance to work with paying clients from home or mobile. It allows you to begin earning straight away, even while working towards a qualification.

Are there beauty courses for beginners?
You do not need any previous beauty experience. On application, you will be required to complete Maths and English assessments, achieving a minimum of an Entry Level 3.

The courses are very much tailored towards those who have little to no experience but have an interest in the industry and would like to start their career. With all of the courses, the primary outcome is to take people from basic knowledge to fully trained by the end of the course.
