My name is David and I’m the Head of Functional Skills English and Maths at the LBTA.

My team believes that a good understanding of these two subjects can make a huge difference to people’s lives. Maths and English are everywhere  – so what we focus on here at the LBTA is making both of them relevant to the Beauty industries.  We are passionate about what we teach and our reward is knowing that our learners have achieved results in areas which they may have previously thought was impossible.
